Brochure, Catalogue and White Paper Design
Professional brochure and catalogue design that makes your content work harder
I’m Andrew Wicks, a freelance graphic designer with over 20 years’ professional experience creating brochures, catalogues, white papers, reports and other multi-page publications for businesses and organisations throughout the UK.
Whether you need a short corporate brochure, a detailed product catalogue, a professionally designed white paper or a complete publication produced from supplied copy and imagery, I can take your content and turn it into a clear, engaging and polished piece of communication.
Working primarily in Adobe InDesign, I can handle everything from the initial design concept and page layouts through to artwork preparation and supplying print-ready or digital files.
Brochure Design
A well-designed brochure should do more than simply make information look attractive. It needs to organise your content, establish a clear hierarchy and guide the reader naturally through your products, services or message.
I design brochures for businesses and organisations across a wide range of sectors, from simple four or eight-page marketing brochures through to substantial corporate publications.
Each brochure is designed around your existing brand identity, content and audience rather than using a predetermined template.
Brochure design can include:
Corporate and company brochures
Product and service brochures
Sales and marketing literature
Property brochures
School and education publications
Event and exhibition brochures
Digital and interactive PDFs
Print-ready artwork
I can work with an established brand and supplied guidelines or help develop the visual style where one doesn’t already exist.
Catalogue Design
Catalogues present a particular design challenge: potentially hundreds of products, images, specifications, tables and prices need to feel consistent without becoming repetitive or difficult to navigate.
I have extensive experience designing and producing product catalogues and other large multi-page documents in Adobe InDesign, creating flexible page structures that accommodate different amounts of information while maintaining a consistent visual identity throughout.
Projects can range from relatively small product catalogues to publications containing dozens or hundreds of pages.
Catalogue design and production can include:
Initial catalogue design and page concepts
Master pages and templates
Product page layouts
Tables and technical specifications
Image placement and preparation
Contents and section pages
Page numbering and navigation
Existing catalogue redesigns
Updating previous editions
Print-ready PDF preparation
If you already have an established InDesign template, I can also provide typesetting and artwork production, working within your existing design rather than starting again.
White Paper & Report Design
White papers, research documents and corporate reports are often information-heavy. Good editorial design helps make that information easier to understand by introducing structure, hierarchy and visual interest without distracting from the content.
I design professional white papers, reports, research documents and thought-leadership publications for print and digital distribution.
Layouts can incorporate:
Charts and graphs
Infographics
Tables
Statistics and key figures
Pull quotes
Photography
Illustrations and icons
Branded callout panels
Contents and navigation
Interactive links for digital PDFs
The result is a document that feels consistent with your organisation’s brand while making complex or detailed information considerably easier to consume.
Typesetting & Document Production
If your organisation or agency already has an established Adobe InDesign template, I can take supplied copy, imagery, charts and other assets and produce the finished document for you.
This is particularly useful for:
Annual reports · Regular publications · Catalogues · White papers · Technical documents · Corporate reports · Newsletters · Price lists
I can also update existing InDesign documents, create new editions and adapt established layouts when content changes.
How much does brochure or catalogue design cost?
Every project is different, so the final cost depends on factors such as the number of pages, complexity of the layouts, condition of the supplied content and whether a new design needs to be developed.I’d introduce them with:

Frequently Asked Questions
What do you need from me to quote for a brochure or catalogue?
Ideally, send me the approximate number of pages, an indication of the content involved and any existing brand guidelines or examples. If you already have the copy and images available, sending a sample will help me assess the amount of design and artwork work required.
Can you work with an existing InDesign template?
Yes. If you already have an established Adobe InDesign template or an existing publication, I can work within that design to produce new pages, editions or documents.
Can you redesign an existing brochure or catalogue?
Yes. I can either refresh an existing design while retaining elements of the current identity or create an entirely new visual approach.
Do you supply print-ready artwork?
Yes. Finished artwork can be supplied as a print-ready PDF prepared to your printer’s specifications. I’m also happy to liaise directly with your printer where necessary.
Can you design a digital brochure or PDF?
Yes. Brochures, reports and white papers can be designed specifically for digital distribution, including interactive links and navigation where appropriate.
Do you work on large catalogues?
Yes. I regularly work with multi-page documents and can establish templates, master pages and consistent styles that make larger publications much easier to manage.
Do you work with clients outside Berkshire?
Yes. Although I’m based near Newbury in Berkshire, I work remotely with businesses and organisations throughout the UK.
